Welcome to Declaration of Independence 250 as we celebrate the 12 month countdown to The United States 250th Birthday on July 4, 2026.
Our country was founded upon the idea that there are Universal Truths that are true for all people at all times everywhere.
A bedrock principle is that “Our Rights are Self Evident and they come from God”. God gives these rights, not government. And that the only legitimate purpose of any government is to “protect these God given rights”.
The United States has experienced a 60 year “cultural and moral decline”. Politicians, Professors, Schools, and Community Leaders have been impotent to deal with the root cause of the problem. At it’s core, it is spiritual – “we have forgotten God.” We have forgotten God both as individuals, and as a country.
But green shoots of awakening are happening. A growing number of citizens are wanting to learn, re-learn, and dig into the foundational principles of the most successful Constitutional Republic the world has ever seen.
The goal of this Declaration of Independence 250 Initiative– is to help all citizens, civic and community leaders, pastors, churches, people of faith and people of good will to understand the roots of our country’s history and in the foundational principles of freedom and liberty.
